Camp numbers are limited to ensure that we provide each participant with a unique and unforgettable experience.

Daily tennis clinic - From 8:30 to 3:30 Monday through Friday
As hinted in the camp name, the focus will be to develop "pure" tennis: sound and efficient from a technical viewpoint (footwork,motion and grip), as well as smart and planned from a tactical viewpoint (strategie,theme and practice match).

Video tape at the beginning to follow up every time the improvement 

Physical test and physical preparation (warm up,sprint ,aerobic system...)

Planning during the week some USTA tournaments during the week end

Developping an interest for the kids to work with a long term goal (schedule together tournament's season and bring the kids to international tournaments

Camp supervision
The camp will be run by two experienced professionals, Fred ,Paul Henry and Marc, who have between them over 40 years of successful careers in the tennis business. They will provide daily physical conditioning for the campers and will also run a tournament in which the campers will compete. In addition, some recreational sports will also be available to campers.

Two hours of english lessons every day (OPTIONAL)
Certified and experience professors will lead the classes, and the teaching style will enhance student interaction and active participation.
Furthermore, all throughout the camp, total language and cultural immersion will enhance the players experience. All of the tennis will be in English, local American players will participate, and in every activity the use of English will be essential.

Extra day trips are programmed for campers attending each two-week camp.
Depending on dates, availability, and participants interest, at least 3 special outings will be offered among the following:

Enjoy a pro sports event (Football Américain, Baseball, Basketball NBA)

Miami and South Florida is fortunate to host pro teams in all the major American sports: basketball, american football, baseball, ice hockey...
Each match is an amazing show!
 

Visit Fort Lauderdale

Surrounded by water, Fort Lauderdale is visited by boat. With 480 km of canals, the city is nicknamed "the Florida Venice".
It is paradise for all boat lovers, water sport fans, and divers. Enjoy beautiful houses with tropical gardens directly on the water!

Miami Seaquarium

Seaquarium
Situated in Key Biscayne, (an island just off Miami),  this site boasts a huge tropical aquarium and fantastic dolphin and orc shows.
Also features a great number of underwater species living in the warm tropical waters.

Discover the original landscape of Florida by visiting the everglades.
Airboats will transport you over the water and vegetation and you will encounter alligators, turtles, different species of birds...

Florida Keys

The 120 mile long Florida Keys is a chain of islands between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.
It is linked to mainland Florida by the Overseas Highway and a 11 kms long bridge amongst tens of others.
Key West, situated at the end of the chain, is the southern most point of continental US and a taste of paradise with its typical architecture and laidback island atmosphere.

What is the minimum tennis skills required to participate?

In order to participate in the camp, you need to be able to play without difficulty a full tennis match. This means that you are able of consistently serving and rallying as well as master tennis scoring. If you play USTA tournaments or leagues, you are automatically apt for the camp.

How many teenagers will there be in a camp session?

There is a limit of 12 teenagers that will be boarding with us. We are also running a local summer camp, and we will integrate local players with European players to stimulate cultural interaction.

When do we need to sign-up?

There is no sign-up date as such. However, since space is limited, spots will be reserved as soon as the down payment is issued. When the quota is reached, a waiting list will be set up.Obviously if you need to travel to get to Miami, the earlier the better as fare rise significantly as you approach travel time.

What are the payment conditions?

To be officially signed up, you must pay 1/3 of the camp price up front. The remainder is due one month before the first day of camp.

Is it possible to get a refund in case of participant cancellation?

Down payment (1/3 of the price) is non refundable. If full payment has been issued, Pure Tennis USA will refund 2/3 of the camp proce only if a new participant (from the waiting list) signs up and fills the open spot.  All expenses related to the travel cost to get to Miami are not the responsibility of the organizers.

What happens if the camp is cancelled?

In the unlikely event of camp cancellation due to the camp organizers or to , all non travel-related fees payed by campers will be entirely refunded to the participants.

How will parents and campers be able to communicate during the sessions?

There will be every day a slot of time reserved for telephone contact. Campers can be contacted via email, skype once back in their hosting families or in case of emergency on the cell phone of the camp managers.
